Bali Spirit 2019

Bali Spirit 2019

Seven Days of Yoga, Dance, Healing and Transformation

From March 24 to 31 the conscious tribe met for the annual BaliSpirit Festival, taking place for the 12th time this year close to Ubud on the tropical island Bali. More than 5000 visitors came to attend workshops, talks, and concerts held by over 270 presenters and artists. Whether shaking the body off in one of the energy-boosting dance classes, finding stillness in meditation or a smooth yoga flow, collecting new ideas in an inspiring talk or rewinding in a magical cacao ceremony, BaliSpirit Festival had something for everybody.

Whether shaking the body off in one of the energy-boosting dance classes, finding stillness in meditation or a smooth yoga flow, collecting new ideas in an inspiring talk or rewinding in a magical cacao ceremony, BaliSpirit Festival had something for everybody.

With this years’ theme “Restore the Balance” the festival aimed
to offer a space for our global family to gather together in sacred
celebration, doing the inside-out work of personal and planetary healing and
transformation. By taking time and space to re-align through yoga, movement,
dance and music, not only during but also beyond the festival, we fine-tuned
our inner equilibrium and rejuvenated our bodies.

More than 180 inspiring international teachers like Mark
Whitwell, Tymi Howard, Alfred Kendricks or Danny Paradise shared their insights
and knowledge of their specific modality during workshops and/or seminars which
took place from early morning until late afternoon.

Music Lovers were pampered with an amazing day time lineup
performing at CocoLove Stage, and great concert nights at the Main Stage. A
sound of conscious music filled the air throughout the day on the festival
grounds along with traditional Balinese Gamelan tunes.

While special kids program was offered all week long, having a
family day on Sunday made the festival a unique experience for the whole family
and local community. Speaking of community: to make the festival affordable for
everybody, BaliSpirit designed a cheaper ticket giving access to all classes at
the Community Pavilion, Food area, Dharma Fair and Music program.
